Posted in Normal by scud | Comments Off on Team Awesome is moving to London. I landed an excellent position at Splash Damage in the UK. Our house is under contract, we’ve submitted our resignations to EA and Watermark, and come early August, away we go. We have a lot (A LOT, just you wait) to say about Orlando and what the City Beautiful’s people mean to us, and that love is only heightened by how the community has handled itself with dignity and grace in the past week. Living and exploring overseas has been a dream of ours for a long, long time. The difficulty we had making the decision to move is a direct testament to the quality of friends (no, family!) Matt, Dex and I have made here. We will always call you home. We are so, so proud to call you home. Orlando, you got under our skin figuratively, and with our new tattoos, you are now under our skin literally. It is so hard to leave, but we both feel a small bit of comfort knowing we’ll carry a part of you with us, wherever we go. This is a bit of a repost but it’s pretty big news that I wanted to make sure everyone I know knew because it’s a pretty big friggin deal.
