I’m becoming a Floridian?

I think it’s funny sometimes when I check my stats. I have a lot of people linking back here, mostly because of my theme, but also that a lot of those people don’t revisit here to keep reading me. I guess I suck as a blogger, which is fine by me. Because I don’t really write to get other people’s approval, but it is interesting sometimes to see what people think about certain things. Plus when other people comment it’s how you find out about other interesting people.

The other day as I was leaving a postal place [I had been there mailing off some sunglasses to Jolly Ole England] when two gentlemen in a white Suburban tried to sell me stolen speakers. I know they were stolen because he started off saying that they were extras from a shipment, and that he wanted to get rid of them, for only their tax value. I kept telling him no, because really we have a 5.1 setup for our HDTV and then I have another set of 5.1 speakers in my room, so no need for a huge amount of extra speakers. Of course the fucker, wouldn’t let me go until about 5 minutes later he realized I wasn’t going to buy them. He even tried to suggest that I go to the bank and get some money when I told him I didn’t have any cash on me. Of course I’m pretty sure if I had done that he and his cohort would’ve tried to mug me or something.

After I told my friend this she commented that I’m starting to become more and more like a native Floridian. All I have to do to truely become one is buy meat of the back of a truck, and evacuate for no reason during Hurricane season.
