It was slightly odd having a thanksgiving not with my family. But while it was somewhat odd I was still very thankful that I’ve made the kind of friends down here who would invite me to Thanksgiving dinner because they know I don’t have anywhere else to go.

I’m just very happy and thankful that I have made those friends at all, from the people at the pub who’ve adopted me into their big family, to the people I work with. I’m also very happy and thankful that Jamie managed to get us tickets for the Pens/Panthers game tonight. Because damnit I can’t wait to see my boys in action again.
