I guess I should update this thing a lot more. Some of you might be saying it’s because Arsneal lost in the Champions League final to Barcelona, sadly you are wrong. It’s mostly been because I’ve been busy with work and then hanging out with the girlfriend that I haven’t really had any time to update. That and whenever I do think to update I don’t have anything on my mind and who wants to read an update full of nothingness? Wait isn’t that what this current update is all about? Shit.

Actually I’ve been sick most of this week, I caught it from the girlfriend finally after she was sick almost all of last week and I hung around her trying to take care of her, and just generally be with her. So while being sick sucks, it was worth it because I do enjoy spending time with her.

I knew I was getting sick because while we were at the Heat vs Pistons game on Monday [yay for free tickets!] I could feel my ears start to go all wonky and my nose was running more and more. I kept saying “Oh I’m getting sick damnit” all during the game at which point Jamie would tell me to shutup and that it was mind over matter. Yea my mind was already all over the matter of me being sick.

Sure enough Tuesday I felt like utter crap and came into work for a few hours before deciding I’d had enough with trying to work while my head felt like it weight 800lbs. So I left work at around 1 and went home to just veg infront of the TV, blowing my nose every few minutes it seemed.

Took off again on Wednesday because I felt more of the same and figured I’d be better off resting at home and recouperating. Which I was because by Thursday I felt good enough to come back into work, though even now I still have a slightly runny nose but it’s nowhere near as bad as it was.

Also on Thursday was a visit to the dentist that boy oh boy did she clean my teeth.

Even though I was sick most of this week I still managed to get a bunch of stuff done, sure it’s mostly car stuff but I’m happy nonetheless. I got my new rear sway bar installed on Wednesday, got some tint put onto my windows yesterday and went grocery shopping so my house isn’t only full of Pop-Tarts.

The one oddity of this week is that because of my being sick today is the first full day of work and it’s Friday! That would be awesome if I wasn’t not working because I was sick. [I think that makes sense]

Oh yea shit almost forgot, now on the right instead of the countdown to Arsenal games you see the Countdown to US Mens National team games in the World Cup. I hope everyone and their brother gets to watching the WC and to cheering our boys on. Hopefully they can get to another semi-final game and not get robbed of a goal.
