When it rains, it friggin pours I tell you. Most of this week has been ok, albeit slowly going down the shitter as the week went on. It all seemed to culminate yesterday. Why yesterday? Well I’ll make a little list to show you more clearly why yesterday was so terrible.

• The US Mens soccer team lost, knocking them out of the World cup.
• I had to go to the dentist, for an hour and a half super-deep cleaning
• I was rear-ended coming home

The first thing wasn’t so bad, I was kind of expecting it. It just sucks when it happened on account of a shitty shitty German ref who decided to award a penalty for something that happens some 15-20 times a game. Watch any replay of a corner kick, you’ll regularly see defenders literally bear-hug an opposing player to stop them from jumping up for a header. I’ve never seen a penalty awarded for one of those, yet we got one yesterday for something much much less.

The dentist thing, while it sucked is a necessary evil and something I can’t complain too much about. It was just something of an issue for #3 because they had to numb most of my lips and mouth to do the work yesterday.

When #3 happened I had just left the dentist office and was about a mile away from my house, the damned girl thought our lane was moving, when infact it wasn’t. Thankfully she didn’t hit me too hard, but it was just the fucking icing on the cake. Now I have to see how much it’s going to cost to repair and whether or not I want to file an insurance claim or not. I’m also kind of positive the girl might’ve thought I was drunk or on some other kind of drugs because I kept talking funny thanks to half my mouth still being numb.

Thankfully I happened to be talking to Jamie when the girl hit me and she ended up coming up to my house to be my own little private nurse.

The other downside to the dentist visit is they did more work than I had originally expected so now I’m pretty broke and was supposed to buy fireworks for the 4th this weekend. Looks like that has to wait till after Tuesday and damnit I wanted my fireworks now.
