Kyle Secor

I wanted to write this up before I went to sleep because I’ve been meaning to write about it all week. On Tuesday while I waited in between commercials for Scrubs I switched the channel over to Veronica Mars and who did I see during those 10 seconds I was on the channel. Yep, none other than a Mr.Kyle Secor, I have to say I was surprised. Mostly because after watching it for 10 seconds or so I could tell a] how shitty the show was and b] that they need to bring back Homicide in some form. Just watching that little snippet of the show it made me realize both how good the writers were on Homicide and how much better he was in the role as Bayliss.

Plus he looks a helluva lot older than he ever did in Homicide.

Thinking about actors after Homicide ended I’m realizing that almost everyone who was good in that series hasn’t found work elsewhere. The only exception is Belzer who’s worked on almost every one of NBC’s cop-drama’s. Of course Munch will always be best suited for the mean streets of Charm City. I wonder why none of the other actors ever found work, you could tell from Homicide that they could nail roles and were quality actors. It’s a shame because I’d love to see Andre Braugher in another role like Pembleton, but the two shows they gave him to star in were such pieces of crap there was no way they would’ve succeeded.
