Momma’s birthday.

It feels as if Summer is finally arrived here in South Florida. By arrived I mean of course that the humidity is cranked to max and the tempature is pretty high too. Needless to say having a decent working A/C unit in your car is a necessary tool, otherwise by the time you arrive at whatever place you were driving too, you’ve taken another shower while in the car. Frankly it doesn’t look too good to arrive somewhere with your shirt already drenched.

Thankfully the Silver-Bullet has a pretty damned good A/C unit, though once it does actually get cold I can’t ever seem to find a happy medum. Since I’m almost always too hot, I stick with keeping it really cold in the car.

This past weekend it was my mother’s birthday, which I only found out because when I talked with her two weeks ago I asked her when Father’s day was so I wouldn’t forget. At which point I was promptly told it’s this-coming Sunday but that also the week before was my mother’s birthday. Though of course me, being me, I managed to not get the card there on-time, but I did send an e-card saying her real one was coming [and seriously the real card I got her is too funny, so it’s all good] Also in my attempt to call her up on her birthday I called our house. Which didn’t do me any good because she was up visiting my grandmother in PA. But again I at least tried, so when I did talk to my mother the other night she was ok with it. Though I just [literally about 3 seconds ago] remembered that I was supposed to call her back on Sunday night and well, I got occupied after I ate dinner and forgot to. Guess I’ll call her tonight, because when I tell her why she’ll understand, or I hope she will.

Oh yea, and now I have to go find something to buy/mail for my father. It’s looking like it might be time for another trip down to the russian store in Ft.Lauderdale.

edit: Also this just blew my mind.

Someone write me some interesting emails because it’s looking like it’s going to be another boring day at work.
