I had my first driving lessons today. You’re probably wondering “Why in the hell are you having your first driving lessons at 24?” Oh mon fraire [or however you spell that] you’re wondering the wrong kind of driving. You see today my vehicle was a 31′ boat weighing a shitload.

Yep I was doing boat driving lessons. Hell I even docked the boat without fucking things up! Which was a lot better than when I tried to ‘save’ the boat a few weeks ago. And by save I mean I didn’t do anything except make things worse as we ran into the dock.

Thankfully this time we did no such thing and I managed to get us into our slot pretty decently. Then again it was with some help so it’d be a lot different if I were to take the boat out by myself.

In other news I found an interesting blog. It’s the blog of a guy who’s from VA living in London, or well was living in London. What makes it special? He played for Arsenal up until Thursday, now he’s playing for Burnely. It’s Dannyk.us and I actually met him. Doubt he remembers it but during our ArseAm trip we met him and the other American, Frankie Simek, after their reserve team match. Infact there’s a picture somewhere of us together. I think I need to find it. But it’s an interesting read because I guess it’s refreshing to see how a ‘pro’ player makes it over there. Plus he’s from my homestate of VA, so gotta support them VA boys ya know? Hopefully he’ll get some quality playing time at Burnley.

That’s kind of it. I was going to go to a Say Anything show tonight, but apparently they cancelled their tour. So nuts to that.
