Wow, what a fucking week.

I’ve been without power since Monday morning when Hurricane Wilma hit. To top that off my grandmother in Puerto Rico died on Sunday morning, so I spent most of the week trying to find something to eat, worrying about gas, and trying to get a flight to PR. I found some food, got a wee bit of gas, but the flight my mother found to PR got canceled this morning so here I am. Posting from a friends house because they have power and we don’t still.

Frankly I don’t know when we’re supposed to get the power back, but godddamn I want it now. I don’t really want to post a whole lot, but sufficed to say I’ve seen a helluva lot of destruction, and I almost feel like a refugee because everywhere you turn people have no power, no gas, and no food.
