Sometimes it’s great living where you’re at. Take South Florida for example. We have gorgeous weather 11 months out of the year, that one other month is the crap associated with Hurricanes. There’s a nice beach mere minutes away from where I live, and it’s free!

However there are also some utterly crap things about where you’re living. Take South Florida for example. Because we live so far away from most other states and there’s nothing nearby except water bands don’t come tour down around here. An example of this is Matt Nathanson and Carbonleaf, two bands I really really like, but who aren’t coming near here at all.

Of course they’re going to multiple shows around Denver, and Washington DC, two places I have lived in the past. But no show anywhere near the state of Florida. It makes me sad because I’ve seen both those bands seperately, and they were both awesome, but as was the case of the Everything & Emmet Swimming NYE show from a few years back they’d be even better together.

So curse you people who live in areas that Matt Nathanson and Carbon Leaf are coming to, I want to go see them too!

Oh and people who get to see Ted Leo also aren’t cool in my book either.
