Change?

So far I like wordpress a lot, seems easy to use and for once the ‘more’ entries actually work properly. Plus it was able to import in all my old greymatter entries without much fuss.

Other than that things have been slowly settling in, I shouldn’t say settle in since I’m about to start a new job this weekend, and well things are never normal in this household. But I think I’m finally re-adjusted to the heat and humidity of Northern VA but what I’m not adjusted to, nor do I think will happen in a while, is the fucking traffic. In Denver there’s a rushhour, and it’s literally for almost an hour, maybe a bit more. However here in the DC area rushhour starts at around 3 and doesn’t let up until oh, about 8pm [and incase you folks couldn’t add, that’s 5 hours as opposed to one] And of course the drivers in the DC Metro area suck, I mean not just suck in the old-lady who drives in the fast lane, kind of suck. I mean the make you want to jump out of your car and beat them upside their own heads with a sock, kind of suck. People either refuse to acknowledge anyone else is on the road and attempt to become one with you and your passenger seat, or they just lack the general skills in knowing how to operate a motor-vehicle.

Oh, so this new job I’m getting. Incase you’re so inclined [all 1 of you who read this (hell it might not even be 1 anymore)] I’ll start working at a restaurant called Arties. It’s not a chain restaurant so I’m happy about that, however the owners of it also own some other restaurants in the DC area so it’s not as mom-and-pop as I wish it was. Nonetheless a friend got me the job and it will hopefully be a place of much income, or else I’m fucked. Really though I like starting new jobs because you get to meet new people and 9 times out of 10 the people who work in restaurants are people who are fun as fuck to hang out with.

In other ‘site’ news I think I’m going to add a little bar on the side that will simply tell about the latest Arsenal happenings since we’re starting to get near the start of the season and of course there’s tons and tons of transfer gossip floating around.
