Goddamnit, seriously please just either stay or go Paddy. All this talk is literally driving me insane. I just want it to be mid August already and have everything sorted out and the season started. In other news we picked up a few new midfielders, a frenchie named Flamini, and a new backup keeper Almunia from Celta Vigo. Both these players I’ve never heard of before. The Flamini signing is odd because he said he left his other team to get more 1st team action, only the problem is we already have our ‘set’ pairings in the middle of midfield so he really wouldn’t get that; unless Vieira does indeed go to Real.

Also of interest is the last of our old guard, Ray Parlour, has left the team to go to Middlesbrough which is good for him I guess since he’ll get more 1st team action. It’s just weird to see all the old boys go. Though I will say for a long time I hated him, thought he was shitty with the ball and always gave it away at the most in-opportune times. Then I realized it didn’t matter because no matter what he’d keep running his fucking ass off until the whistle blew, which is more than I can say for some of the other guys on the team.

Either way this off-season has been a bit odd and crazy, and it’s not like we need to make many changes we won the fucking league going unbeaten!
