3 heart-attacks.

I just got done watching what might have been one of the best matches all season long in the premiership. Arsenal just tied Nottingham Forrests 42 game unbeaten streak in a most marvelous fashion. We dominate posession in the first half, I believe it was something like 88%, and yet we went into halftime tied. Thanks to some not-so-good defending and a cracker of a shot.

What happens when we come back from the break you ask? Oh we only proceed to go down 1-3 thanks to fucking Pascal Cygan and a stupid mistake from Lehmann. Great, things are looking just peachy for us to tie the record with us playing like shit at the beginning of the 2nd half. Thank jesus for the awesome skill that is Dennis Bergkamp. Now we’re down by just 1, but thanks to Dennis we’ve got wind in our sails and proceed to not only tie the game thanks to an awesome Robert Pires goal, but take the lead when Reyes steals the ball off the Boro kickoff and sends a cracker of a shot to the opposite corner. 4-3 to the Arsenal and we’re back looking like the team that’s gone 42 games undefeated.

However we weren’t done with the scoring and Pires and Henry linked up in injury time to give us a 5-3 scoreline that saw us tie Forrests’ record. All I can say is, it was one of the best games I’ve ever seen us play, not because of the individual skill [and there was a lot of it] No it was the best game I’ve seen because we never, ever gave up and stormed right back to win it and get the 3 points.

Bravo to the Arsenal, bravo.
