Sneezing

I saw a guy sneezing as I drove by him and I realized how comical you look when you sneeze. It’s like a mini-seizure and your face ends up looking all sorts of odd as you sneeze. If the person is trying to hold the sneeze in then it’s even funnier because then they look all focused and intense as they try not to make too much noise. I guess you could say it’s a constipated-look.

Yes this is seriously what I think when I’m driving home by myself.

I thought the other day after reading some other blogs elsewhere that I should maybe try to write more serious entries. Then I realized what a crock of shit that’d be, mostly because while I can do serious from time to time, it’s not who I am. So fuck seriousness, and instead you’ll get stories of how I laugh at people as they sneeze.

Speaking of that the important thing about having a sneeze be funny looking is that you can’t hear the person sneeze. If you hear them sneeze you’ll always go “Bless you” [or you should if you’re a decent person] but if you don’t hear the sneeze you don’t feel obligated to say “bless you” and can instead enjoy the comedy that is a sneeze.

In other non-sneeze related news the fixture list came out yesterday. What is that you ask? Why it’s only the entire schedule for next seasons, so now I can already see that we start out the season against a lot of good teams, but have a not too hard run-in to the end of the season. I also see that again we’re playing the day before my birthday and not on it. Basically it’s the most interesting thing going on during this summer since there’s no UEFA tournament or the World Cup.

Honestly though, football season cannot begin soon enough for me. Sure watching the World Youth Championship is ok, but it’s nothing like watching the boys in Red and White, ok this season they’re in Redcurrent [or maroon if you want] but still I want to see me some Arsenal.
