A certain someone asked where I went, then blamed it on work. Amusingly enough work is not even close to the reason why I haven’t written. It’s mostly been because I’ve been busy. You see this past weekend my friend Rachel from Denver was out visiting for four days so we’ve been busy going out and about and having a general good time. Yesterday was the best though, because i went into work late because I had a Dr’s appointment [more checkup’s about the whole eye thing] and then I worked for about 2 hours, came home for lunch and didn’t go back.

Now you’re probably wondering why I skipped out on work? But nay you are wrong, I didn’t skip out on work. I went in, did all the things I was supposed to and managed to get them all done in 2 hours so that I was able to go home without worrying if things were finished here. Guess that’s one of the plus sides of having a job where your workload depends on other people sending in things.

However it seems the theme of this week is “Other people are out to kill me week” because I swear I’ve had so many cars randomly pull in-front of me and do totally idiotic things it’s scary. The other day a lady literally pulled out trying to cross two lanes of traffic when I was about 5 feet away from her. Thankfully the Silver Bullet has good ABS brakes and I was able to avoid hitting her stupid ass. Then later that day a woman on her cell phone did almost something similar in pulling into my lane of traffic and moving at approximately 5mph.

I would just like to make it to Thursday so I can get on an airplane and go back home for a few days damnit. I need to see some form of football or I’m going to go insane damnit.
