Opening day

Ok now things are offically on-track, or well I should say they’re on track for Arsenal. The season’s finally started early this morning and while I haven’t seen the game I know the results because I’m going to be at work when the replay is on tv. It’s always good to start off the season with a win, it’s even better when the results are 4 to 1. While Henry didn’t score, he did get a few assists [which is good for my fantasy team] and it also shows that we’re not so much a one-trick pony and hopefully that’s a good thing. Too often in the past we’ve relied on Henry for all our goals and at some point he’ll hit a dry spell, thankfully now we have quality strikers and midfielders who can pick up the slack.

That said I really wish I had gotten that Vieira away jersey from Sara for Three Kings because since the whole Vieira deal fell apart [you did know that didn’t you?] I’d like to show support for El Capitan. Eh I guess I’ll never get it now though, not unless I feel like starting a lot of shit with her about it; then again it is something I was promised, and is something that’s important to me. Meh.

I’m just happy we won, and that we’re now 1 game away from breaking Norwich’s unbeaten record of 42 games unbeaten.
